Hello all!
Sorry for the blog silence this last week and a half. It turns out that between working full time, keeping the house in order (sort of) so my husband doesn't have to worry about anything but homework, and writing a novel, certain things fall through the cracks. Like dinner. We actually forgot to eat dinner last night.
Unfortunately, another thing that has fallen through the cracks lately is this blog. That is not okay, and I am doing my best to be more on top of it. This is where you come in.
I love writing and I like maintaining this blog. However, coming up with ideas to write is becoming increasingly more difficult. I have so much crammed into my head (and about 6,948 post-it notes) about my novel that I am finding it hard to fit any other ideas in there. So...what would you like to read about on this blog? I really just need general, fairly vague ideas (though if you have a very specific one, I most definitely will not complain about it). Once I get the idea, the research and writing part goes smoothly-I just need to know what to research and write about.
As always, if I come across something I find is newsworthy or worth sharing, I will not hesitate to post it. In the meantime, I will be watching blog comments like a hawk, trying to get some ideas to infiltrate my mind.
Thanks for you help!

Rachel, dear, you make me want to read your novel and my "inner mom" says I should nag you to write it, not work on this blog!
I hear you about post it notes. Now all those little scraps of ideas can stick to something or the wall! As in Amadeus, though,"write it down!"
Coping with finding time for writing in itself could be an interesting blog topic. John Bytheway (my favorite prepositional phrase!) says to get up 30 minutes earlier and that's when he writes his books. Perhaps at a 2am feeding, spending 30 minutes on the organization or writing of the book, then put your feet back in bed? Or instead of watching TV-or after prayers? Making time for ME is the focus of this magazine. Make time to get that novel written and publish the thing. You will be so glad you did! :D
